Your efforts to transform medicine can inspire philanthropy from a wide range of organizations. Let’s work together to realize great potential.
Our Corporate and Foundation Relations team is ready to assist you in identifying opportunities for engagement with professional and family foundations, national associations, and corporate foundations.
We work closely with the Medical School, the U-M Office of Research and Sponsored Projects, the Fast Forward Medical Innovation Program, the Business Engagement Center, and the U-M Office of Foundation Relations to ensure coordination and compliance with university policies and guidelines.

- Advise you on approaching foundations and corporations
- Help develop proposals, gift agreements, and grant letters
- Assist with online applications
- Arrange site visits
- Recruit and identify mentors and connect you with past successful applicants
- Oversee the reporting requirement process
- Engage university leadership in corporate and foundation relationships
- Help you think strategically about foundation and corporate support within units
- Convene campus conversations around themes of interest to corporations and foundations
