Using the Arts to Enhance the Healing Process
During times of stress and illness, the arts have the power to nurture and engage.
One of the first and most comprehensive arts in medicine programs nationwide, Gifts of Art's programs aim to transform the hospital experience in support of health and wellness for patients, guests, faculty, staff, and learners.
Its programs utilize the arts to assist and enhance the healing process, reduce stress, support human dignity, and renew the spirit. A diversity of arts helps to create a welcoming environment where all can feel they belong.
Discover how this happens through live concerts, art exhibits, bedside art, bedside music, bedside storytelling, the Life Sciences Orchestra, and more.
