About Us

Since 1974, Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels has worked to reduce hunger and food insecurity for our homebound adult neighbors in the Ann Arbor area who, because of their health, are unable to shop and prepare nutritious meals for themselves.

AAMOW staff and volunteers are committed to supporting the dignity and independence of our homebound community members who are largely unable to leave home because of their health status. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion and seek to provide services that are culturally responsive.

AAMOW delivers meals Monday - Saturday with an extra meal on Saturday for Sunday. Staff are available to provide additional support that includes addressing tangible needs through our personal care items pantry and connecting folks to additional community supports.
